North Port has some great restaurants too. Carrabba’s Italian Grill is excellent and my favorite mexican is LaEsperanza!

    Melanie,

You are right, There are many great restaurants in and near North Port. North Port is also close to Venice and Venice beach. If one buys property in North Port, FL they can be near that great town without the expense.

I was looking for a lot for sale in North Port because it offers lower housing costs than neighboring cities, making it a bedroom community for people who work in Sarasota or Port Charlotte. I can also go boating in Charlotte Harbor on the weekends which is great.
