The Charlotte Stone Crabs have made the second round of the Florida State League Championship. They are playing the Tampa Yankees and are making a real go of it against that tough team. Ryan Royster has come up with some clutch his and the rest of the team is on a roll.

Charlotte County Lot Sales

During August 2009, 65 dry (non-waterfront) lots sold in Charlotte County, FL. The price range was $2,500 – $77,000 with the median price $5,500 and the average price $7274. Obviously, the $77,000 lot was quite large acreage.

There were only 4 waterfront lots with access to the gulf sold. You must make a distinction between waterfront lots on a lake or fresh water canal (drainage ditch) and those having access. The price range of gulf and harbor access lots sold in August 2009 was $20,000 for a lot with a very low bridge and long motoring to the Myakka River and $125,000 for a very nice sailboat access lot. The median price was $68,000.
