Stone Crabs in Playoffs

The Charlotte Stone Crabs have made the second round of the Florida State League Championship. They are playing the Tampa Yankees and are making a real go of it against that tough team. Ryan Royster has come up with some clutch his and the rest of the team is on a roll.

Jack thanks the Stone Crabs team for a great season filled with great fun and great baseball. The fans in Section 106 really got to know each other and the team members. Ryan “The Rooster” Royster will never forget Jack! And we’ll never forget Ryan.

Clyde and Carol are among the most avid fans of the Stone Crabs and and Carol is the Section 106 Club cheer leader. Her grandson, Robbie takes Clyde’s seat when he is in town. He is now at college, working hard and playing for Eckerd. Go Robbie!

Kevin Boggan, Stone Crabs Pitcher

Stone Crabs ace pitcher Kevin Boggan winds up for a pitch. The 6′2″ Boggan has a 3.96 ERA and is a great Rays prospect. The Boston College alum is from Lexington MA.

Port Charlotte and all of Charlotte County baseball fans wish Kevin a great off season and while we hope he rockets to the big show, we would be happy to welcome him back to town next season.
