“Stoney” is always a Big Hit!

Lola was very proud of her baseball

Last night was a great night at the Stone Crabs game in our book. After meeting Stoney (the Stone Crabs mascot), two year old Lola can’t get enough of him. Lola even got a game ball and to top it off it was a beautiful red sky night. So, today must have been a sailor’s delight!

Quote from today`s Sun -
“Maybe it was the new Miley Cyrus walkup music. Perhaps it had something to do with a crowd of 15 odd fans next to the home dugout who paid homage to him (Henry Wrigley) by wearing faux Mohawks with his number drawn on the side of their heads”

Wrigley set a franchise record for hits in a game and finished a triple shy of the cycle -
5 hits – 4 RBIs – scored 3 runs
Stone Crabs 11 – Brevard County 8

15-Odd Fans...

Henry surprised us by presenting us with autographed photos of our group. It was truly a great gesture and we will always remember him for this, among other things. It was something for us all to remember because all the Stone Crabs players, managers and coaches are special to the Section 106 gang and for Henry to go out of his way to honor us with this autographed photo (one for each of us) was very special. We thank you, Henry and we look forward to seeing you belt a few out at the Trop when you are called up.

Henry Wrigley

Wow, Henry was HOT last night in the Crabs win! And the fans in the Section 106 Club think it has something to do with the new moustache. Henry has been hitting very well lately and his fielding is superb as usual… but there must be something. If he keeps hitting like this, he better not shave!

Although if he keeps playing the way he has lately, he won’t be in Port Charlotte much longer. He will be moving on up. It will be our loss. I just hope he remembers us in ol’ Port Charlotte when he’s up there with the big guys.
