What a lovely location. It seems to offer a lot of possibility for peaceful living and access to the Gulf by boat. I’m very impressed with the reasonable prices that are available at WMV. The pool is beautiful!
I came upon your blog while surfing today and was sad to learn of the death of Dr Peter Bryan-Brown.
I was very close to the Bryan-Brown family when they lived in Whangarei New Zealand and it was Peter who brought me into the world of sailing. Even then he was racing a multihull, and English designed Shearwater cat. Nic and I sailed the New Zealnd “P” class yacht and it was from the family that I purchased my first “P” called Puffin Too. Peter had Nic a new boat built for Nic which was called Matchbox. Nic and I were inseparable and I felt a real sense of loss when the moved from Whangarei to Hawaii. I would love to be able to get in touch with Nic again and perhaps you may pass on my email address to him. Nic, I still have your the kite you gave me when your left!. Remember the flying fox from the chimney of your house to the swings on the front lawn.
